Planning Partnership

Delegating duties gets even easier with a detailed honey-do list

Getting the groom involved in the wedding-planning process has never been easy, but perhaps a smart notepad might make it a little easier.

Not your average honey-do list, the Me You You Too Pad from whoMi – a spiral-bound notebook segmented into three eponymous sections – gives the impression that it’s pretty easy to delegate tasks for yourself, him, and, yes, him too.

The peach (Me), sky blue (You) and violet (You Too) notes allow you to “diplomatically distribute tasks and chores to prevent a serious meltdown,” says the company.

According to a 2007 study conducted by The Knot, 43 percent of couples are footing the wedding bill themselves, so it makes sense that both will share (happily, of course) in the planning duties, which naturally will take some extra organization.

Grooms, however, might be afraid that the You and You Too sections would wane a lot quicker than Me section. And since all is fair in love, it might be nice to pick up two and give the groom some delegating power.

Or at least trick him into thinking he has some …
