David Tutera on keeping brides calm before the big day
On his show “My Fair Wedding,” David Tutera takes over the wedding details three weeks before the bride’’s big day. Here’s how the party planner keeps brides cool and collected:
“All brides should know what all wedding planners know, which is that no matter how carefully planned a wedding is, some things will go wrong,” Tutera says. “The best advice I can give is to plan as well as you can, thinking through the potential glitches, and then roll with it the day of, knowing that guests will only remember the overall details and not the broken sugar flowers on your wedding cake or the fact that one bridesmaid forgot her silver shoes.”
